Galveston update: We have been spared from anything too severe so far. From what I’ve heard from various sources, the Strand area has had some street flooding. The usual flood spots and low-lying areas have some water. Have not heard of any significant wind or flood damage. Our friends up the road have had significant flooding, and our hearts and prayers go out to them.
