The Galveston Telegraph and Telephone Building was built in 1896 and survived the Great Storm of 1900 and every other hurricane since. Renovated to lofts and retail space in the late 1990s, Galveston Telephone Lofts are just blocks from restaurants, galleries, and nightlife in the Strand Entertainment district in Galveston.
