Ahh, the hazards of online value estimates. What is value anyway? Above all else, it’s subjective. One man’s trash…, beauty is in the eye… AVMs, or Automated Valuation Models, and all their algorithm-based cousins simply cannot factor in the human element (yet). Even the suppliers of these estimates acknowledge their limitations (see quoted website disclaimers above). Best advice? Talk to your local pro!
